George went to Manitoba in 1899, and to Warren MB in 1918.17,26 He was living in Winnipeg in 1910.18 Obituary: "GEORGE ROBERT BOYD "On April 30, 1962 at his late residence at Warren, Man., George Robert Boyd, aged 85 years. Born at Warkworth, Ontario, he came to Manitoba in 1899 and has been a resident of the Warren district for the past 44 years. Surviving are 1 daughter, Mrs. Bertha Jamieson of Warren; 1 granddaughter; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. His wife Ethel predeceased him in 1946. Funeral service will be held May 2nd at 2 p.m. (C.S.T.) in the Warren United Church. Rev. A. Parsons officiating. Interment in the family plot, Warren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please give donations to your church for the work of the church in the world. The A.D. MacKenzie Funeral Home in charge of arrangements."24
