Postcards from the Front

This set of fourteen postcards was sent by our grandfather, Captain James Nelson Richards, (Army Medical Corps, Canadian Over-Seas Expeditionary Force), to his three young daughters during the first World War. The children were aged four, three and one, and their father attempted to explain why he was away from home. (For additional postcards, see bottom of this page.)
