"When her son Charley was a tiny baby, Lowella was driving a car. Something happened to make her stop the car suddenly. Because of the sudden stop, Charley rolled from the window ledge of the old coupe she was driving to the seat beside her. He probably only bounced there once before crashing to the wooden floor boards of the ancient automobile. The thought that her baby might be hurt, so frightened her that she never drove a car from that day until the day she died. Charley was not hurt." (Carl McKague)185
