Harry was granted land in western Canada at SE-20-29-9-W3.381 He later lived in Saskatoon SK,10 and was living there at the time of his mother's death.320 Harry was president of the Saskatoon Rugby Team, Saskatchewan champions in 1921.382 He was also a member of a 1916 championship curling team; the other three were Jack Miller, E. Olson and George Arthur Woolhouse.383

"H. McKague City Pioneer, Dead at 73
"Harold G. 'Harry' McKague, 73, pioneer funeral director in Saskatoon, died in hospital early today. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from Knox United Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Memory McKague, one son, Robert J., all of Saskatoon; two brothers, Norman, Outlook, and Percy, Saskatoon; two sisters, Ethel and Florence, both Saskatoon. Mr. McKague was born at Kenton, Man., and came to Saskatchewan in 1905 to file on a homestead in the Conquest district. He came to Saskatoon in 1913 when the family funeral service was established. The business was reorganized in 1924 and Mr. McKague became secretary and then president in 1946, a position he held at his death. Until a few years ago Mr. McKague was a familiar figure at all sporting events in Saskatoon, taking a special interest in football and hockey. He was president of the old Saskatoon Quakers Rugby Football Assoc in the late twenties on the only occasion a Sasaktoon team won the senior provincial championship. He was a keen curler and also was to be seen at most boxing matches in the city. At one time he was a member of the Masonic order and of the Saskatoon Rotary Club. He was a member of Knox Church congregation."378
