Obituary, 1952: "Helene Dubeau Dies Suddenly "Mrs. Helene Dubeau, 57, died suddenly at her home, 128 Duncan Avenue, Kirkland Lake, following a lengthy illness. "Born in Verner, Ont., she married Tancrede Dubeau in 1915 and moved north to Cochrane in 1917. She came to Kirkland Lake about 10 years ago. "The former Helene Foisy, she is survived by her husband, two sons--Ronald in Germany with the Canadian 27th brigade, and Donald in Kirkland Lake--as well as 10 daughters: Cecile, Rachelle, Aline and Annette of Kirkland Lake; Fleurette in Toronto, Lucille and Yolande in Cochrane; Jeanne in Connaught; Muriel in Timmins; and Anita in Sault Ste. Marie. "Also surviving are three brothers, two sisters and 16 grandchildren. "The body is resting at Symington's Funeral Home until time for service in the Church of the Assumption, Saturday, May 31.
