"If you look at the descendants of Joseph and Ida May you will see that the children were born all over the place, Uncle Joe kept them moving, and she was probably pregnant the whole time. He was a preacher for a while ... . My Dad said he could quote the Bible with ease. I remember their garden, but not much else, he had all the vegetables and flowers in raised beds, and there was a field of potatoes, and a field of strawberries, there were so many mouths to feed.
