Benjamin moved with his parents from Mariposa Twp, Victoria County to Maryborough Twp, Wellington Co. ON Canada.203,195 In 1888, Benjamin and his family (wife, three children, and mother-in-law) moved to R.M. Woodworth (originally part of County of Dennis) in Manitoba. Benjamin's brother Hiram and his family had migrated there earlier.193 At his death he lived in Logloch MB.204 Grant of Probate of Benjamin's will, taken from microfilm at the Wellington County Museum, Ontario: "McKague "Be it known that on the eleventh day of March in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and ninety one, Letters of Administration full and singular, the [r]eal and personal estate and effects, rights and credits of Benjamin McKague, late of Logloch in the county of Shoal Lake, Province of Manitoba, Farmer, who died on or about the third day of October in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine at Bradwardine, in the County of Dennis, Province of Manitoba, intestate and who had at the time of his death a fixed place of abode at Logloch, in the said County of Shoal Lake, Province of Manitoba, were granted by her Majesty's surrogate court of the County of Wellington to-- "John Brown the younger of Logloch in the County of Shoal Lake, Province of Manitoba, Farmer, the husband of Helena Brown, the eldest daughter of the said Benjamin McKague, he having been first sworn faithfully to administer the same by paying his just debts and distributing the residue (if any) of the real and personal estate and effects according to law and to exhibit a true and perfect inventory [of] all and singular the said real and personal estate and effects, rights and credits to render a just and true account thereof whenever required by law. BIRTH: There's general agreement on Benjamin's year of birth,42,12,10,2 except that the 1871 census shows him as 29.206 One source gives 1839/40,207 and one gives 1839/41.191 The 1861 census shows him as 22.195 DEATH: His death date is also shown as Oct 3, 1888,193 and cemetery records show him as dying in 1884.205 His place of death is also given as Drayton ON.207
