"I believe that there were two Charles H. McKague's - one born 28 Oct 1871 in Burlington Twp, Lapeer, Michigan and one born in Oct 1873 somewhere in Michigan. The reason I state this is that there is the birth record for Charles #1. The 1900 census shows Charles born in Oct 1873 and Sarah Orr McKague's obituary states that she was the mother of 11 children, of whom 8 were living - that means 3 deceased kids - the twins and the first Charles H. McKague. The 1900 census also states that she was the mother of 11 with 8 living."503 |
