| "I found a Tower family living in Racine, Mn in 1875 and 1880. The father is David Wells Tower born in Mariposa. HAS to be Susan's brother. A Tower born in Mariposa and now living in a little town in Mn with McKagues. I made contact with people researching the Tower family who descended from David. David had a brother Isaac who also lived near Racine. Robert McKague even sold land to Isaac Tower in 1869. These people doing the research now know about Susan and believe she is probably a sister. Unfortunately, they have not found any parents for David and Isaac. They have hired a researcher in the Mariposa area and will let me know what they find. "242 |

NAME: Her last name is also given as TOWERS.231 Susan's father may have been Isaac TOWERS (?-1831).778 Sister Susan McKAGE is shown in Cramahe Baptist Church records in 1845.778
BIRTH: She is shown in the 1861 census as 40, born in Ireland.399 [Note that another person reads the age entry as 20.]546 Her place of birth is also given as NY US.547 Her parentage (i.e., that she is Esther's sister) is from a different source.285 |
